HDM announces lineup for Healthcare Analytics 2016

Symposium will offer 20 speakers presenting on case studies, panel discussions.


More than 20 featured speakers, nearly all representing healthcare organizations immersed in healthcare analytics, will present lessons learned, new initiatives underway and offer additional insights during Healthcare Analytics 2016, scheduled for July 18 and 19 in Chicago and sponsored by Health Data Management.

In an era of population health management and value-based reimbursement, adoption of advanced analytics is no longer optional. At Healthcare Analytics 2016, attendees will learn how to start analytics efforts as well as how to take the next steps in their programs.

Panel discussions and case studies will cover predictive and prescriptive analytics applied to clinical, claims and financial data, as well as patient sentiment and behavioral data and operational efficiencies.

Topics will cover frontline workflow analysis, customer relationship management, optimization and registry management tools, and financial management of medical, behavioral and pharmacy risk.

Speakers at the event represent some of the nation’s largest healthcare systems including the Mayo Clinic, Duke University Health System, Kaiser Permanente and NorthShore University HealthSystem. Others presenters will provide perspectives from provider groups such as Village Family Practice in Houston, DaVita Healthcare Partners, Blood Center of Wisconsin and Griffin Hospital in Derby, Conn.

Sessions and workshops will cover a range of topics, such as rethinking medication adherence, transfusion medicine, specialty patient registries, building an interoperability platform, best practices around second data usage, and building a modern analytics organization, among others.

Healthcare Analytics 2016 is being held at the Riverfront Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Chicago.
