Phoenix-based DICOM Grid, which operates a Web-based platform enabling anytime access to diagnostic medical imaging studies by authorized physicians, has raised $7.5 million in a round of financing.

Investment firms Canaan Partners Healthcare, Menlo Park, Calif.; CHL Medical Partners, Stamford, Conn.; and Chronic Health Capital, Woodside, Calif., participated in the round and have seats on the vendor's board.
