VHA Gets Discounts from athenahealth
Provider services firm VHA Inc. will offer its 28,000 non-acute provider members discounted pricing for the ambulatory software and revenue cycle management services of athenahealth Inc., Watertown, Mass.
Provider services firm VHA Inc. will offer its 28,000 non-acute provider members discounted pricing for the ambulatory software and revenue cycle management services of athenahealth Inc., Watertown, Mass.
The services include remotely hosted practice management and electronic health records software bundled with outsourced billing, collections and records management services. Athenahealth's agreement with Irving, Texas-based VHA also covers the recently introduced athenaCommunicator service, which combines a patient Web portal with a 24-hour physician call center. In addition to taking messages for physicians, the call center has access to physician calendars to schedule appointments.
