Birmingham, Ala.-based SuccessEHS sells an integrated practice management/electronic health records system, electronic dental records and dental imaging services, and billing services.
Orlando, Fla.-based IPS offers partial or full business office outsourcing services to physician practices, including billing/collections, vendor contracting and credentialing, among other functions. The company also has consulting services covering corporate structure, business models, operations, salary and benefits compensation, and revenue cycle process reengineering.
The companies have been partners: IPS uses SuccessEHS software and SuccessEHS for two years has held a minority stake in the firm. IPS will operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary with all employees and management retained.
