AeroScout says more than 800 organizations in various industries use its tracking software. AeroScout’s health care portfolio includes tracking systems for patients, clinicians and equipment. It also provides monitoring and safety applications.

The deal follows a late 2010 acquisition by Stanley of InfoLogix, which sold RFID-enabled asset tracking systems, bar-coded medication management systems and mobile nurse carts.

“The addition of AeroScout enhances Stanley’s health care, industrial and security solutions and represents a significant step forward on our path to become the leading provider of integrated healthcare solutions,” said Bert Davis, president of Stanley Healthcare Solutions.
