NextGen Healthcare Information Systems Inc. is offering special financing for its ambulatory and inpatient software products through June 25.

The Horsham, Pa.-based vendor hopes to jump-start some organizations' purchasing decisions as they prepare for meaningful use incentives under the HITECH Act.

Qualified provider organizations may defer payments until 2011, and then pay no interest for two years, if they sign a 24-month payment agreement. Organizations can sign a four-year plan that defers payment until 2011, followed by 48 months of payments at 3.9 percent interest. Financing is available through U.S. Bank.

Software eligible for the special financing includes NextGen's ambulatory electronic health records and practice management, inpatient clinical and financial, health information exchange, and patient portal applications. For more information, click here.
