Labor consultancy Mercer has announced more insurers who will offer benefit plans through a new private insurance exchange for employers, called Mercer Marketplace.

Earlier in April, Mercer unveiled its first 10 payer partners: Aetna, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare, Health Net, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Anthem Blue Cross of California, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, Empire BlueCross Blueshield, and Florida Blue.

Now, 11 more insurers have come on board with dental, vision, life, disability, eye care and pet coverage products to round out benefit packages: Allstate Benefits, Delta Dental, EyeMed Vision Care, InfoArmor, ING, MetLife, Prudential Group Insurance, The Hartford, Unum, VPI Pet Insurance and VSP Vision Care.

The exchange will offer online and telephone support to help employees tailor their benefits portfolio. More information is available at mercermarketplace.com.
