The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has posted 15 new Frequently Asked Questions--most of them pertinent to critical access hospitals--regarding the electronic health records meaningful use incentive programs.
The Web address for all 15 FAQs starts with https://questions.cms.hhs.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/10717/. After the hash mark, add 10717, 10718 and 10720 for three questions covering payment information for critical access hospitals. Add 10716, 10719 and 10721 through 10727 for nine additional questions relative to critical access hospitals. Add 10713 and 10714 for two questions pertaining to submitting data to an immunization registry, and add 10715 for a definition of "pediatrician" for purposes of meaningful use eligibility.
