The Flint-based delivery system has deployed Paragon in two hospitals and extending the technology to six others is part of its strategy to qualify for meaningful use incentives under the HITECH Act. The same technology in each facility also will give McLaren a simpler software environment to support and ease the sharing of information, says Don Kooy, CEO at McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint.
