The New York-based hospital has installed the OR-Dashboard from Cambridge, Mass.-based LiveData Inc. in seven new operating rooms, four endoscopy suites and five interventional radiology suites.
The Cambridge, Mass.-based vendor has integrated LiveData with the hospital's pathology information system from Cerner Corp., Kansas City, Mo. This enables the display of specimen information during a procedure rather than making multiple phone calls between the OR and pathology as multiple specimen samples are collected and analyzed during a cancer operation.
