The ACS consultancy unit of Xerox is the prime contractor in Iowa under a contract totaling $12 million over five years. ACS’ technology partners are Informatics Corp. of America in Nashville and two Iowa-based firms: Genova Technologies in Cedar Rapids and LightEdge Solutions in Des Moines. The state received a four-year HITECH grant of $8.375 million. Pilots are scheduled to start in July 2012 with full implementation expected by year-end.
