Veteran hospital medical cart and mobile/wall mounted computing system vendors Stinger Medical and Enovate have merged.

The companies will be renamed Enovate Medical, and led by Stinger CEO Nick Mendez. Other senior management includes COO Fred Calero from Enovate and CFO Wendy Hyde from Stinger.

Customers of both companies will have access to an expanded product line that also includes wall arms and mounts, and medication transfer products. Combined, the companies say they are now the largest vendor of mobile clinical workstations in the nation.

Both headquarters—Murfreesboro, Tenn., for Stinger and Canton, Mich., for Enovate--will remain operational. More information is at stingerandenovate.com.
