Both companies offer outsourced coding and inpatient/outpatient code auditing. Springfield, Mo.-based TrustHCS also offers onsite coding education, clinical documentation improvement services, ICD-10 education, and revenue cycle integrity assessment and improvement programs.
Poncha Springs, Colo.-based Legacy Coding covers the Southwest and has about 50 clients, particularly hospitals it has served for many years. The company brings to TrustHCS those clients and additional expertise in outsourced coding and auditing.
