The service, delivered by board-certified nurse practitioners, was launched in 2010 and has treated more than 100,000 cases. In addition to serving patients in Iowa and Virginia, the service is also available in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Michigan. The company says it plans to expand the service in the near future.
For a $45 fee, virtuwell.com treats and provides a prescription--if needed--for common conditions like sinus and bladder infections, pink eye, minor skin conditions like acne or rashes, and more.
