Devanny Leaves Cerner for TriZetto

Trace Devanny on July 16 is wrapping up his tenure as president of provider software vendor Cerner Corp. to become CEO at The TriZetto Group Inc., which sells software systems to health insurers. He starts on July 19.


Trace Devanny on July 16 is wrapping up his tenure as president of provider software vendor Cerner Corp. to become CEO at The TriZetto Group Inc., which sells software systems to health insurers. He starts on July 19.

Devanny will succeed Jeff Margolis, founder of TriZetto, as CEO. Margolis will remain chair. Devanny will work out of Greenwood Village, Colo., which will become TriZetto's new headquarters, relocating from Newport Beach, Calif.

He joined Kansas City-based Cerner in 1994 and became president in 1999.
