Cerner Corp. will integrate into its information systems the Pyxis medication dispensing, supply management and anesthesiology software and products of CareFusion Corp., San Diego.
Kansas City, Mo.-based Cerner also will resell the Pyxis dispensing systems to select accounts within its core electronic health record installed base. The goal is to connect the EHR across a broader range of medical devices, says Neal Patterson, CEO at Cerner.
