John Halamka, MD came to Mayo after 25 years’ work in the Boston area, serving as CIO at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. The 60-year-old practicing emergency medicine physician was drawn by Mayo’s initiative to create a platform to investigate ways to transform medicine.
