Healthcare information and education vendor Wolters-Kluwer Health, Philadelphia, has released the Lippincott Advisor App. The technology, accessible to institutional users of Lippincott Advisor, will allow clinicians to access the platform from any mobile device, including Apple and Android smartphones and tablets.

The app includes information on diseases and conditions, signs and symptoms, diagnostic tests, treatments, hospital-acquired conditions, core measures, care plans, and drug information, plus access to all of the customized content developed by users' own institutions.

The app provides the same features found in the online PC-based product. It is available as a free download and can be unlocked with a clinician's existing institutional login information. Users also receive all quarterly online content updates.
