The IntelliVue MX40 monitor enables nurses to check ECG rhythms or other vital signs rather than going to a central station monitor, according to the Andover, Mass.-based vendor. Other features include alarm settings, histories, and vital signs trends.

Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, S.D., is an early adopter. More information is available here.
