Software vendors at HIMSS11 in Orlando are announcing a series of new products, services and initiatives. Among them:
* MedeAnalytics has issued the Accountable Care Organization Technology Framework, a guide to identifying core information technology components necessary for supporting government and commercial ACOs. The six components cover financial infrastructure, reporting infrastructure, performance management, data aggregation, clinical data exchange and role-based security. The guide is available at http://www.medeanalytics.com.
* Sage Healthcare and HealthUnity have signed a joint marketing agreement. Sage will pitch HealthUnity’s health information exchange platform while HealthUnity will market Sage’s physician practice management and electronic health records software. Sage will continue to link to other HIE platforms that its clients wish to use, says Betty Otter-Nickerson, president.
* Imprivata has introduced OneSign Anywhere, which is single-sign-on and user authentication software that works on mobile computing devices and smart phones. The software runs on iPads, iPhones, and Windows, Linux and MacOS devices.
