Quest Diagnostics has made two vendor partnerships to integrate new functionality into its Care360 electronic health records system and ChartMaxx enterprise content management system.
About 11,000 physician practices in Florida use Care360 and Quest will integrate into the EHR the Direct Protocol secure messaging software of the Florida Health Information Exchange. The software is from Harris Corp., which operates the HIE’s platform.
Quest also will integrate into ChartMaxx the eAudit software of ApeniMED to enable encrypted electronic submission and tracking of requested documents from Medicare Recovery Audit Contractors. Quest Diagnostics sells Care360 and ChartMaxx through its MedPlus subsidiary.
