Health information content vendor Wolters Kluwer Health and change management consultancy The Altos Group have jointly developed a program to reduce sepsis mortality rates in hospitals.
The Altos Group brings to the partnership a specific sepsis reduction program that, among other clients, reduced by more than half the average mortality rates in nine California hospitals over three years. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality has profiled that program, available here.
Wolters Kluwer Health complements The Altos Group services with its ProVation order sets, UpToDate and Lexicomp clinical decision support software, and Sentri7 clinical surveillance system.
