With the election over, the government is quickly getting ready to issue more rules implementing the Affordable Care Act.

The first up could be a second rule governing state health insurance exchanges. The proposed rule has been sent to the Office of Management and Budget for Review, a final step before publication. The rule continues the process of establishing qualified health plans and health insurance exchanges, also known as health benefit exchanges, with a focus on appeals of eligibility determination, and oversight and financial integrity provisions, according to a brief synopsis from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Also sent to OMB is another proposed rule governing health insurance market regulations, with no details available.
