Health Data Management is partnering with Kaiser Permanente to offer a complimentary Web Seminar on Sept. 2 that explains how the health system linked its EHR--KP HealthConnect--to a forward-facing PHR portal to enable patients to review their treatment information, test results and other clinical data, as well as communicate with the right Kaiser Permanente care teams at the right time and get actively involved in improving their health.

Anna-Lisa Silvestre, Kaiser Permanente's vice president of online services, will be the featured speaker. Silvestre has developed and overseen the strategy for the health system's Web services and will discuss the technological, clinical and business issues KP has confronted during the PHR initiative.
