San Francisco-based McKesson Corp. reported reduced profit and slow revenue growth in its Technology Solutions division for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2010, which ended March 31.
The division had fourth quarter operating profit of $85 million, down 20 percent from the same period a year ago. Quarterly revenue increased two percent to $820 million. Services revenue rose two percent, software and software systems sales increased five percent, and hardware was off 18 percent.
For all of fiscal 2010, McKesson Technology Solutions had operating profit of $385 million, up 15 percent from 2009. Annual revenue rose two percent to $3.12 billion. Services were up four percent, software was flat and hardware was down 26 percent.
