Sessions will cover patient stories about privacy losses, the risks and benefits of electronic health records, the basics of health privacy law, whether there is too much or too little privacy regulation, opportunities and risks from release and sale of health data, the effects of social media and mobile devices on privacy, and technologies to enhance patient control over health information, among others.
