St. Joseph’s picks Cerner for unified health, wellness records

In other implementations, McPherson taps CPSI patient, business information systems.

Here is Health Data Management’s weekly roundup of health information technology contracts and implementations.
  • St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, serving parts of New Jersey, will implement the Cerner Millennium electronic health record, revenue cycle management software and the vendor’s HealtheIntent population health management product across its acute, long-term care and ambulatory facilities. HealtheIntent will enable establishment of a longitudinal record with a unified view of a patient’s health and care experiences.
  • McPherson Hospital in Kansas, a 49-bed acute care facility, is getting the Thrive electronic health records system from CPSI as well as TruBridge revenue cycle management software. The ability to quickly integrate patient and business office records for the hospital and its clinic was a major factor in the selection, according to Clinton Terry, director of information systems.
