AdvancedMD Software Inc., a privately held vendor of remotely hosted physician practice management and electronic records software, saw revenue increase 29 percent to more than $8 million during the first quarter of 2010.

The Salt Lake City-based company had annual revenue in 2009 of $26.8 million, of which 90 percent was recurring revenue. The company did not release income figures but says it was net profitable for all of 2009 and the first quarter. It now has had 26 consecutive quarters of revenue growth.

As of March 31, AdvancedMD had 3,800 clients representing 10,000 providers, nearly half of whom were brought on by billing service partners. More information is available at
