A new report based on interviews with 225 home care agencies finds many agencies prefer information systems from home care-focused vendors.

The report, from KLAS Enterprises, an Orem, Utah-based vendor research firm, covers four best-of-breed home care systems and four enterprise applications that include home care functionality.

The three highest ranking home care systems based on overall customer satisfaction are from specialty vendors Homecare Homebase, Delta Health Technologies and CareAnyware. All interviewed customers of Homecare and Delta plan to keep their current product in the coming years.

Other vendors covered in the report include Allscripts, Cerner, McKesson, Meditech and Procura. The report, "2010 Homecare Update: Satisfaction, Loyalty and Growth," is available for purchase at klasresearch.com.
