Report: ERP Vendors Score Low on Satisfaction

A new report on financial enterprise resource planning software vendors finds none of the top three score high in customer satisfaction among health care clients.

A new report on financial enterprise resource planning software vendors finds none of the top three score high in customer satisfaction among health care clients.

KLAS Enterprises, an Orem, Utah-based vendor research firm, published the study following interviews with 225 provider organizations. KLAS focused on three major vendors, Lawson Software Inc., McKesson Corp. and Oracle Corp.

Each vendor's client satisfaction rating fell below the average score of 77.4 out of 100 for all software vendors in all categories in the KLAS database, at the time the report was developed. McKesson's product had a score of 74.5, followed by Oracle at 71.8 and Lawson at 68.6.

The report also includes satisfaction scores of products from seven other vendors but there were not enough client evaluations to meet KLAS' criteria for comparison and ranking. The report, "The Conundrum of ERP: Is it Possible to Get Functionality and Service?" is available for purchase at klasresearch.com/reports. Providers receive a significant discount.
