The electronic data interchange service of McKesson Corp.'s RelayHealth unit has been certified as supporting the CORE Phase II requirements for a more thorough and uniform way of conducting electronic insurance eligibility and benefit determination transactions.

CORE is the Committee on Operating Rules initiative of CAQH, a Washington-based alliance of health plans and trade associations. Stakeholders are developing a number of operating rules designed to make electronic claims and related transactions far more uniform than they are today.

More information is available at relayhealth.com and caqh.org/core.
