Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder. The registry will include a database and related tools to analyze data for patterns that could lead to more effective diagnosis and treatment, according to the Salt Lake City-based vendor. Information in the database will come from electronic health records, biospecimen repositories, diagnostic imaging applications, gene panels, claims and other sources.

A patient portal will enable the tracking of longitudinal outcomes. The National Fibromyalgia Association will be the custodian of the data, which will provide an opportunity to financially sustain the organization, says Lynne Matallana, founder and president.
