Phone Links Docs to EDI, Practice Mgmt.

HealthFusion, a vendor of claims clearinghouse services and practice management software, has launched applications to enable physicians to view their office schedules and patient insurance eligibility status via Blackberry and iPhone smart phones.

The mobile applications are available at no additional cost to customers of the Solana Beach, Calif.-based company. HealthFusion next plans to release a mobile application to enable physicians to remotely enter via their smart phone charges for services rendered.
