Information technology services firm NTT Data Services and medical imaging management company DataFirst are teaming up to offer providers a new offering that is designed to improve the analysis and sharing of radiology scans.

The new service uses NTT Data Services’ Imaging Insights platform, which supports consistent classification of files and can analyze MRI, CAT and other scans for a variety of health conditions, and DataFirst’s workflow engine, which allows radiologists to connect and share images across disparate provider platforms.

But working together, the systems can give radiologist better information and allow them to quickly, and more accurately, diagnose patient conditions.

“This new partnership allows us to expand our Imaging Insights solution with stronger patient health profiling opportunities,” says Barron Lange, president of the provider service within NTT DATA Services. “Healthcare organizations have the capability to create more streamlined workflows, enhance routing and data sharing, and generate impactful insights for patient care.”
