Cerner Corp. has promoted Zane Burke to President, succeeding Neal Patterson who remains Chairman and CEO.

Patterson added the President’s title in 2010 after Trace Devanny left Cerner to lead payer software vendor TriZetto. Burke started at Cerner in 1996 after working at KPMG and has served in multiple positions, most recently as executive vice president of Cerner’s client organization.

Burke previously led Cerner’s Western region from 2003 to 2011.
