The St. Louis-based firm, which serves the one-to-10 physician market, also has released a new version of its Web-based suite of vendor-hosted software that costs $425 per practice per month. He previously founded a respiratory care durable medical equipment company that later was sold, and served in a senior position at ancillary software vendor Mediware Information Systems.

ClearPractice offers subscription-based practice management and electronic health records software, or one or more modules of the applications, such as e-prescribing software, personal health records or mobile applications. The company currently has more than 4,000 users at 45 practices and also offers outsourced billing services.
