Clinical decision support vendor PeriGen Inc. has named Matthew Sappern as CEO. He succeeds Donald Deieso, who accepted a position with Arsenal Capital Partners.
Sappern most recently served as senior vice president of client sales at Allscripts; he was senior vice president of professional services at hospital vendor Eclipsys before Allscripts acquired it. He also served at WebMD, Time Warner, Primedia and Young & Rubicam.
Princeton, N.J.-based PeriGen sells the PeriCALM fetal monitoring system and the PeriBirth clinical decision support software.
