Emergency department information systems vendor T-System Inc. has named Sunny Sanyal as CEO. He succeeds John Tresciak of equity firm Francisco Partners, who has served as interim CEO since the firm made a significant investment in T-Systems in April.
Sanyal is an industry veteran and most recently spent a year as president of the Provider Technologies division of McKesson Corp. before leaving in April. He previously served in senior positions at GE Healthcare, Accenture and IDX Systems.
About 40 percent of emergency departments across the nation use T-System products, according to the Dallas-based vendor. Other health information technology companies in Francisco Partner's portfolio include AdvancedMD Software, API Healthcare, Healthland and QuadraMed.
