Medical information content vendor A.D.A.M. has promoted CFO Mark Adams to president and CEO. He succeeds Kevin Noland, who resigned to pursue other opportunities after 15 years with the Atlanta-based firm.

Adams joined the company in 2006. He previously was CFO at Miller Zell, a strategic retail design and consulting firm. He also worked at Arthur Anderson & Co. Chris Joe, director of finance at A.D.A.M., will serve as interim CFO.
