Netsmart Prescribing Software Certified

Behavioral health software vendor Netsmart Technologies Inc. has received additional certifications of its InfoScriber software from electronic-prescribing network vendor Surescripts.

Great River, N.Y.-based Netsmart previously received certifications that its software supports such functions as sending new prescriptions electronically, receiving and responding to inquiries for renewals, and requesting external medication histories from community pharmacies. The new certifications cover eligibility and formulary checking, and requesting external medication histories from pharmacy benefit management firms.
