Navigant Buy Increases Consulting Services

Navigant Consulting Inc., a Chicago-based firm with business in multiple industries including health care, has acquired EthosPartners Healthcare Management Group, a Suwanee, Ga.-based health care consultancy with a national presence.

Under acquisition terms, Navigant paid $28 million in cash, $2 million in restricted stock and $7 million of deferred cash payments. The company will pay up to $8 million more based on meeting performance metrics. EthosPartners has 180 billable professionals, of which 85 are part of its outsourced revenue cycle services business line that includes proprietary technology and skilled labor.

EthosPartners also offers business intelligence software and expertise, practice management services, strategic and operational consulting, and development and management of ambulatory surgery centers.
