More EHRs Get Certified

Electronic health records vendors Practice Fusion and EDIMS LLC have had specific versions of their products certified as supporting meaningful use criteria under the HITECH Act.

The Drummond Group has granted EHR Module certification for Practice Fusion's free, Web-based and advertisement-supported EHR. Drummond certified 15 modules of the EHR and San Francisco-based Practice Fusion will work toward full certification in the coming months.

The Certification Commission for Health Information Technology has certified EDIMS 2.6, which is an emergency department information system, as an EHR module.
