Messaging App Ups Reporting Function

Clinical messaging vendor Halfpenny Technologies Inc. now offers a critical laboratory value reporting service to physicians' smart phones.

Physicians using the Blue Bell, Pa.-based company's ITF-GoDoc service can access laboratory, pathology and radiology results via their iPhone, Droid or Blackberry Storm phones. Now, they can get alerts on critical test results, and designate other clinicians or a call center to get the results if they aren't accessed within a predetermined period.
