The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has added patient satisfaction rates to its Web site that rates the quality of home health agencies.

Part of the Quality Care Finder site that also ranks hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis facilities, physicians and Medicare plans, the home health site enables consumers to search for agencies and view their services offered and quality measures.

The site uses data from the Home Health Care Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems Survey, which is updated every four months. The new data on patient home health experiences gives an overall rating of an agency and patients’ willingness to recommend the agency to others.

The home health and other sites are available here.
