The Maryland Department of Mental Health and Hygiene will implement emergency response management software from Upp Technology, Downers Grove, Ill.

The vendor's irms/GOKIT platform links disparate systems into an enterprisewide data repository, to enable remote management of emergency pharmaceuticals, supplies, equipment and other assets, such as patient dispensing facilities.

The mobile platform can be operational, with or without external connectivity, within 15 minutes of deployment, according to the vendor.
