Ambulatory electronic health records vendor AmazingCharts.com Inc. has several new features in version 5 of its application, sold for $995 per provider and $500 per year for maintenance.

The EHR now integrates with the 5-Minute Clinical Consult medical content with information on more than 700 medical conditions, according to the North Kingstown, R.I.-based vendor. Additional new decision support content includes health maintenance guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force within the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.

Reports generated with the EHR now can be exported to Excel spreadsheets, and search queries can be saved. New reporting programs support documentation for medical home initiatives and pay-for-performance programs. More information is available at amazingcharts.com.
