Two more electronic health records software vendors have received certification that specific versions of their products meet meaningful use requirements.

"Complete EHR" certification means a product meets all inpatient or ambulatory requirements; "EHR Module" certification means an ancillary system meets a subset of requirements.

Krames StayWell had two patient education systems - Krames On-Demand, Version 5.0 and Krames Exit-Writer, Version 7.3 - certified as EHR Modules by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology. Mitochon Systems' free, advertiser-supported mEMR ambulatory product has earned Complete EHR certification from the Drummond Group.
