Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn., has notified 87 families of a breach of their children’s protected health information, WDEF-TV reports.

The children’s medical records were found outside the hospital on or around Jan. 14, according to the television station, which did not explain where the records were. Compromised information included name, address, phone number, diagnosis and Social Security number. Erlanger in the notice said it has enhanced physical security and staff training.

Erlanger did not respond to a Health Data Management request for the notice and additional information. The delivery system told WDEF that it is not aware of suspicious or unauthorized use of the records.
