The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology has released a revised Funding Opportunity Announcement for $10 million covering up to five grants to develop the curriculum for health information technology training programs at community colleges.

ONC also will conduct a technical assistance call for potential applications on Dec. 17 at 3:00 Eastern Time. Community colleges interested in offering health I.T. training programs have until Jan. 22 to submit applications for a total of $70 million in grants.

Organizations interested in grant funding to develop curriculum that will cover 20 different content areas must submit a letter of intent by Jan. 4, and an application by Jan. 14. The expected award date is March 18.
