InterMedix Acquires Collaborative Fusion

Intermedix Corp., a vendor of billing services and software for emergency health care providers, has acquired Collaborative Fusion Inc., which sells responder and incident information systems. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.


Intermedix Corp., a vendor of billing services and software for emergency health care providers, has acquired Collaborative Fusion Inc., which sells responder and incident information systems. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Intermedix provides billing services to emergency physicians and EMS transport firms. It also sells Web-based alerting and collaboration software for public health professionals, and systems to enable the tracking of available beds, decontamination units, ventilators, and other equipment and pharmaceuticals.

Pittsburgh-based Collaborative Fusion's CORES Platform automates registration, notification, deployment management, on-scene accountability, and post-incident reporting functions.
